Bilal Ahmed Ali
Clinical psychologist
I am a clinical psychologist from Algeria that resides in Algiers. I have a university degree in clinical psychology, supplemented by a master's degree in health psychology from the University of Algiers 2 Abou Kacem Saâdallah.
I gained my professional experience working in various settings. I collaborated with an association working with a project on childhood trauma, and I then worked in a psychology research center, where I developed expertise in psychological assessment tests and tools. I currently work with an intergovernmental organization, conducting interviews and supporting migrants from diverse backgrounds. In addition, I work as a clinical psychologist at a private practice in Algiers (Kouba), where I see patients of all ages, primarily for anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders.
I speak Arabic, Kabyle, French, and English. My goal is to make psychology and cognitive-behavioural therapies more accessible in North Africa.
