Pierre Lamy
Clinical psychologist, cognitive behavioral therapist, supervisor
I am a clinical psychologist, cognitive behavioural therapist and supervisor (CBT) originally from Québec, Canada. Trained in psychology at the Université de Montréal, I am a member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ) and the French Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy (AFTCC). I worked in adult psychiatry at the University Hospital Maisonneuve-Rosemont in Montréal from 1997 to 2002, and then at the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Toulouse from 2003 to 2018. I have maintained a private practice in Toulouse since 2002.
Since 2003, I have been providing CBT training for the AFTCC as well as in various university diploma programs (D.U.) in France. I have done CBT training in Algeria (Algiers and Oran) since 2012.
I am a certified supervisor by the AFTCC and I have collaborated on research that has led to the publication of scientific articles in journals specializing in psychotherapy and psychiatry.
Clinically, I define myself as having a cognitive-behavioural approach from an integrative perspective and specialise in short- and long-term treatments for anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD, mood disorders and schizophrenia.
